Wagner Hicks PLLC is pleased to announce that Jonathon D. Townsend has been promoted to the firm’s partnership, effective immediately.

Townsend, previously counsel, practices as a member of the firm’s Class Action Litigation, Complex Commercial Litigation, and Shareholder Disputes & Derivative Litigation teams. He handles a wide range of business disputes, including those involving antitrust, breach of contract, employment discrimination, misappropriation of trade secrets, fraud, deceptive trade practices, and appellate litigation. He has more than a decade of experience representing clients in complex commercial cases in state and federal courts across the United States. Additionally, he has notable experience advising financial services clients in regulatory investigations and class actions.
Townsend earned his J.D. from the UCLA School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
