Yawara Ng is a business attorney with experience representing sophisticated clients in complex commercial litigation, regulatory investigations, and government investigations. He has represented foreign and domestic companies in a wide variety of forums, including state and federal courts across the country. Additionally, he has represented financial firms in FINRA and the NFA arbitrations.

Yawara strives to understand the nature and intricacies of his client’s business to craft thoughtful, effective advice to help achieve their goals.  He has advised clients on a range of matters including breach of contracts, member disputes, derivative litigation, employment matters, real estate transactions, digital assets, and violations of the Securities Exchange Act and the Commodities Exchange Act.  Yawara has also had the privilege of representing several pro bono clients throughout his career.

Yawara began his legal career serving as a judicial law clerk at the North Carolina Court of Appeals with Judge Richard Dietz (now Justice Dietz) and Judge Allegra Collins.  Prior to joining Wagner Hicks, he worked as an associate attorney at the Charlotte office of a large international law firm. He earned his J.D. from the Wake Forest School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in International Area Studies from the University of Oklahoma.
